Colorado Fun

The past 9 days were some of the most incredible Colorado days. The days were filled with family, sunshine, a thunderstorm or two, wildflowers lots and lots of them, 2 cats and a new kitten, lakes with mountain views, a rodeo, bike rides in cool crisp air, an evening dip in the pool, and another trip to the zoo.

I'd love to write a few blog posts about the last 9 days. Our time can really be split into 3 different posts since we were in 3 completely different parts of Colorado. So here's a glimpse of what's to come in my next few posts showing all our fun.

An afternoon at the zoo but this time with my parents.

A trip to Gunnison and we met Krista & Daniel's new kitten. She kept us quite entertained.

We had an incredible walk through hillsides covered with wildflowers with my parents.

These looked like dandelions but they weren't. These wildflowers were as large as baseballs. More to come in our post about the Wildflower Capital of Colorado.

My favorite part about these wildflowers: They are wild. The hillsides are covered in them. This is the Colorado state flower called the Columbine.

 Some cheerful wildflowers

Each type of flower so unique and colorful

A happy Colorado couple at Lake Irwin

Shoes, feet, and legs looked like this most of the past 9 days from hiking and exploring.

Excited about seeing flowers in the Wildflower Capital of Colorado: Crested Butte, CO

Our cozy cabin for the weekend at Trappers Lake

A weekend of fun at Trappers Lake Lodge with Hagin relatives

A Colorado picture with mom at Trappers Lake

A hike around Trappers Lake with dad and Caleb

Celebrating the marriage of my cousin Allana and Niko with our family at Trappers Lake Lodge

A day in Denver at the gardens with my parents and cousin Chris
