April has come since I wrote my last post and it's been such a beautiful month filled with flowers blooming and everything turned green.
What a blessed Easter day it was this past Sunday to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. We have new life and joy because what Christ did for us! We had a big feast for lunch at Caleb's parents with my parents as well on Easter. It was fun to have both families together.
This past week was special because we got to spend a lot of time with both of our parents on different evenings. Wednesday was my mom's birthday so we got to celebrate with her going up to Ceaser's Head and enjoying the views and cool weather. It was a fun evening with my parents and them experiencing the Melting Pot for the first time as Mom's birthday surprise. I am so thankful for such a wonderful mother. She is the sweetest person to everyone and an encouragement to me.
Caleb & I rode bikes down the swamp rabbit trail to downtown Greenville yesterday and the weather was perfect in the 70s with blue skies. I have been itching to go camping some weekend soon and I'm really itching to move to Colorado and enjoy the beautiful outdoors there. We continue to pray and have faith that Caleb will have a nursing job soon. He continually applies for new nursing jobs in Colorado and we wait to hear back. We've been talking about some different opportunities of some things coming up soon. This morning I saw the "Ten Commandments of Marriage" my parents had framed for us passed down from my Great Uncle and one of them said "Be willing to take courageous risks in your plans for your future life together." The possibilities we have been talking about fall right into this. We continue to wait, seek, research, talk, and plan for some fun changes ahead.
Heather, thanks for sharing. You and Caleb are in our prayers! Peace be with you! Uncle Scott
