Oh the fun has begun!

We are in preparation mode for the move. We've been on the hunt searching online for places to live, packing some boxes of things we won't need over the next couple weeks, and making plans to get together with friends before we head out. I had a yard sale Saturday which Caleb helped set-up and then Mom & I were the saleswoman. It was a success by selling a lot of stuff and coming away with some nice extra cash for our stuff we didn't need. Thanks for all of your help and time Mom!

Last night we went to our friends house Kim & Ben Gfeller. Two other girls from high school and their husbands we are friends with came and while we were eating we were surprised to see some other friends from high school walk in! Kim surprised us by inviting old friends and making it a "moving away" get-together so we could see friends before we left. Thanks so much Kim for your thoughtfulness, fun decorating, and great food and talking. Kim, although you have a crazy looking smile on your face you still look great in this picture! Below is Kim's husband Ben and their son Braden. We're going to miss you guys and can't wait to see you when we get back to Greenville to visit family and friends.

My uncle Scott has close friends who live in Colorado Springs, and they have graciously opened up their home and guest rooms to us and my parents once we get out there to stay for a few days as we move into our place and unload the moving truck. We are looking forward to spending a night in Illinois with Uncle Scott & Aunt Peggy as we make our trek out West. Our goal is to have a place to move into by the time we get to Colorado Springs. We have narrowed it down to a couple places and we'll be deciding in the next day or two which location we'll apply for renting. It's been fun getting ready for the move and we can't wait to be on the road headed to Colorado!
