Heavner's coming to visit

Krista Heavner, Grandma Park, Carrie Heavner

Caleb's parents and grandma fly in from South Carolina on Tuesday and will be here in time for supper. Krista is coming also from Gunnison!! We can't wait to see everyone and show them around our new city that we call home. Colorado Springs has many neat fun places to explore and visit. The Waldo Canyon Fire is 98% contained now so that will not really affect anything we will be doing. The weather this coming week will be cooler in the 70s and back to normal for Colorado summers which we are so thankful for. It has been in the 90s for a few weeks now and new high temps have been recorded for Colorado Springs. Usually it stays around in the 80s here for the high temps and that feels wonderful with the dry heat. We have been getting some rain showers over the past few days which was much needed.


Caleb starts his hospital orientation tomorrow. Thankfully, he will not have to be there on Wednesday which will be his parents first full day here so we can all do things together. 

He will have to go in to the hospital on Thursday & Friday so Thursday we'll go check out some places like possibly the Olympic Training Center, Focus on the Family, and whatever else that might want to be seen. Friday we'll all head out to Gunnison to stay at Krista's for the weekend. Lots of pictures to come from our time with family!
