Good News, Good News!!

A door has been opened! Caleb had a job interview this morning for a nursing position. The interview went really well, and he received the final paperwork to fill in for the job. It is a registered nurse position with the Colorado Department of Corrections. He has to meet another member of the department to go over background check type things and the last step of the interviewing process. The paperwork process and last interview will take between 2-3 weeks before he will officially have the position. He will be working in clinics within jails and will be able to transfer after he has gained some experience in the clinic setting to a position in the CDOC infirmary which is their hospital for inmates who need more attention than the clinic can give.

One of the great things about this job is the flexibility. He gets to make his own schedule for when he wants to work. This will work nice for when we want to travel somewhere then he just won't schedule himself to work. The past 3 years Caleb has had to work on Christmas day and even Thanksgiving day as well last year. This position does not require him to work so many holidays out of the year. I love that! Caleb is excited about this position also because each day he will be seeing different things at work which is exactly why he liked working in the emergency room. We are both excited and more details will come as things continue to happen and unfold.

  1. Thanks for sharing this answer to prayer! Even if this is not Caleb's destination. I'm sure it will be a great experience for his career. Peace. Uncle Scott
