Today is one of those days. 5:00 pm and still in PJs. Caleb & I made our last two trips to the airport early this morning seeing off the last friends and family to leave. Here is a look at what we've been up to...
The noise and activity from the past two weeks have come and gone.
The past two weeks were some of the most wonderful weeks.
Memorable. Special. Full of family love.
We had laughter and tears of joy.
Sad tears also in saying goodbye.
We rejoiced in the season of Christmas.
Remembering the reason for all of our cheer.
We had excitement in opening all the gifts under the tree
and ringing in with friends and family the new year.
We showered a bride to be with gifts, games, and words of love.
We drove through some snowy winds to a city grand to see a comedy show.
We traveled through towns and fields glistening with fresh white snow.
We skied down the mountain sides with breathtaking mountain peak views all around.
We saw sparkling Christmas lights as we walked on the mountainside zoo
And drove along the twisting mountain ridge road so high
Looking out over the city in awe at its size.
We sat by a fire in a cabin made of logs
surrounded by more family whom we love.
We saw a couple whose love is based on the love of the Lord begin their lives together.
We gave hugs to last for a while as parents went back to the other side of the world to China.
The best part of the last two weeks
was all the love that was shared so sweet
between family and friends who often we don't see.
