Test Taking Completed

Today was the day. Caleb took his NCLEX state board exam. We find out on Thursday if he passed and receives his nursing license. South Carolina's nursing licenses are reciprocal with Colorado so he can work in Colorado and not have to get another license. Caleb said it was hard, and the next two days are going to be the longest days.

We enjoyed a date night out yesterday evening so Caleb could relax before taking NCLEX. We went to Flat Rock Grille and ordered delicious entrees. This is the first place Caleb & I ever met each other. It was August of 2005, going into our junior year of high school. We went to a small Christian high school, and my classmates knew we had 6 new people coming into our class. Caleb was one of the new students coming into our class. (That's a lot of new students in our small class of 30 something). A couple girls thought of a great idea to contact these new students and have a few of us get together with them so they would know some people before coming the first day of school. We all went out to eat at Flat Rock Grille and then went bowling afterwards.

It was fun while we ate supper last night to remember where we sat the first time we met each other and how that was six and half years ago. After dinner we enjoyed some frozen yogurt from Yogurt Mountain but only a little because we were stuffed from dinner. Then we came back home to watch Captain America since neither of us had seen it yet. I love date nights with Caleb because it's time specifically where we can get out of the house and spend good quality time together talking and laughing. Caleb's ability to make others around him laugh and crack up was the first quality that attracted me to him, and today he's still the same entertainer and comedian keeping me laughing. Even when Caleb had the most important exam of his education & career coming up in the next few hours, he was funny and my sweetheart. I love him!

Now we wait for two days to get his test results. Then it's off to Myrtle Beach for a weekend to relax.
