Weekend fun at the beach

We enjoyed our trip to Myrtle Beach. It was too chilly to swim outside and sit out in a swimsuit, but it was still beautiful on the beach with sunshine. Caleb took me to Medieval Times which is a dinner theater place. It was neat the way they had it set up like a castle and we were served in long rows of counters and chairs in an indoor arena setting. They do not give any silverware so we had to eat everything with our hands and drink our soup straight out of the bowl. The theater part was a storyline about knights at a tournament with jousting, sword fighting, and other things that I have no idea what they were called, but they were fun to watch. My picture looks green because the tables we were sitting at were for the green knight.

We also went to Ripley's aquarium. It was fun walking in the tunnel under the tank because we could watch the sharks swim above us. This weekend was a perfect get-a-away for us to celebrate Caleb getting his license and our anniversary. I am so thankful for Caleb and all of his wonderfulness to me. I'll save the mushiness and wonderfulness for another post about our first year of marriage. We enjoyed walking on the beach and sitting out together talking and dreaming about moving to Colorado. Caleb sat on the beach with me even though the sand isn't his thing. He rocks! I told him I was so glad we made it to myrtle beach on a vacation before we moved. We did the South Carolina thing to do. :) I'm ready for our next road trip to be headed on the road to Colorado! He starts applying for more Colorado jobs this coming week and we can't wait to see what happens.
